Erin Boyd is originally from Tampa, FL and has been residing in New York City for the past five years. She is a graduate from Fordham University at Lincoln Center in New York and attended Boston Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. While in New York she has divided her time between performing with the live hip hop fusion band Lifted Crew and the theater. Lifted Crew are well on their way to transforming the vision and concept of today's hip-hop music. They have performed at some of the most respected venues in NYC including: Le Poisson Rouge, Brooklyn Bowl, B.B. King's, Joe's Pub, and Webster Hall.
Erin met the Lifted Crew while sharing the Berklee cafeteria while she was studying at the Conservatory. She has sung national anthem for NY Yankees, TB Devil Rays, Orlando Magic, and TB Lighting. She is a NAACP National ACT-SO-Florida Vocal Gold Medalist. Erin is also invested in her acting work and her latest project 'Their Eyes Were Watching Gummy Bears' earned a selection in the San Diego Black Film Festival. Other projects include 'Brooklyn Bets Alexi', 'Mask' (Reading) directed by Richard Maltby, Discovery Channel's 'The Colony' webisode. Commercial work includes Disney Studios, VH1 Hip Hop Honors, Nationwide Insurance, and Sea World.
